Arm Lift
What’s a Brachioplasty / Arm Lift?
Brachioplasty, also known as Arm Lift, is a surgical procedure designed to remove extra upper arm skin and fat to give you tightened, toned and better proportioned upper arms. People mainly benefiting from this operation include those with massive weight loss, either due to bariatric surgery or diet and exercise, and patients with lax and loose skin of the upper arms in general. Loose skin is generally caused by the limited ability of some patients’ skin to rebound back following weight loss or aging. Brachioplasty is often combined with removal of excess skin of the side wall of your chest in a modified “L-brachioplasty” technique. This elegant procedure allows contouring of the sides your chest along with the arms for a more enhanced result. Also, liposuction of the arms is sometimes added to brachioplasty for additional aesthetic benefit.
