Halo TM Pro

What Is Halo TM Pro?

The Sciton Halo™ Pro Laser is a hybrid fractional laser that’s exceptional at treating multiple skin issues, including laxity, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and more. The Halo™ Pro Laser combines non-ablative and ablative wavelengths to simultaneously tighten and tone skin while treating surface complexion issues.

The Sciton Halo™ Pro Laser is an excellent procedure for patients who are looking to maximize their results with fewer treatments. The ablative fractional laser (2940nm) creates micro-channels in the skin to trigger collagen production for increased skin turnover. The non-ablative fractional laser (1470nm) penetrates the dermis to use thermal energy to trigger skin tightening for improved skin laxity.

Most patients only need 1-2 treatments from the Sciton Halo™ Pro Laser to see results. The procedure is much more comfortable than traditional laser resurfacing treatments, with a much faster healing time.

Frequently asked questions

Why Should I Consider Halo TM Pro?
Halo TM Pro has the ability to improve or treat numerous conditions including: Wrinkles and fine lines Sun damage/dyschromia Skin resurfacing Scar revision (including acne scars) Signs of aging Pigmented lesions Improves appearance of enlarged pores Medical dermatology/Actinic Keratoses
How Is Halo TM Pro? Performed?
Forty-five minutes to an hour before the treatment your provider may place a topical anesthetic on your skin to reduce the sensation during the procedure. Prior to the treatment, the area will be measured with motion tracking technology to ensure the area is treated evenly. The provider will treat each measured section by rolling the Halo hand piece over the skin until the system recognizes the treatment is complete. Your provider may treat certain areas more that need a more aggressive treatment to better reach each patient’s goals.
What Should I Anticipate After the Procedure?
Patients generally heal quickly enough to be able to wear makeup within 24 hours of treatment, although this is not always the case. Your skin could range from being slightly pink to being extremely tender, depending on how your technician uses the laser to achieve your intended outcome. A noticeable improvement is usually seen within a few weeks, with results continuing to improve over time as the skin’s healing response continues to trigger the growth of new collagen.
